As members of the Department of History of Science, we were invited for the opening ceremony of the 35th International Symposium of Science Instruments. Symposium and scientific instruments exhibition, attended by 70 invited speakers from 17 countries, took place on 26-30 September 2016, in Istanbul. Member of our department Dr. Taha Yasin ARSLAN presented a proceeding titled "Instruments Eliminating the Necessity Using Observational Instruments in Timekeeping" on September 29, 2016. At the end of the event, members of our department evaluated the possibility of cooperation with other academicians in the symposium.
